Deck Painting in Franklin and South Nashville

Deck painting is a separate option from deck staining. If you want a painted appearance, start by showing the current coating and condition of the boards, steps and rails. A quote should explain which surfaces will be painted and what preparation is included.

A painted finish starts with the current surface

Peeling paint, bare patches and old coatings should be discussed before choosing a new finish. Color selection does not settle coating compatibility or preparation. Ask whether cleaning, scraping, sanding or removal is needed and how those tasks are priced.

Define the areas and the return-to-use instructions

List walking boards, steps, vertical rails and any areas you want excluded. Ask for the proposed product, preparation scope and use restrictions in writing. Deck painting does not imply fence painting, interior painting or general house painting.

Questions before you book

Can I switch a stained deck to a painted finish?

The current product and condition must be evaluated before proposing a compatible coating and preparation scope.

Is fence painting included?

We do not offer fence painting. Deck painting and fence cleaning are different scopes.

Will paint fix deteriorated deck boards?

A coating should not be presented as a structural repair. Show damaged boards when requesting an estimate.
